Photo & Media Release Policy

By attending the Stuff the Backpack event, participants and their families acknowledge and agree that photographs and video recordings may be taken during the event by 2Wins staff, volunteers, and media partners. These materials may be used by 2Wins and its affiliates for promotional, marketing, or educational purposes including, but not limited to, websites, social media, printed materials, and grant reporting. If you prefer not to have yourself or your child photographed or recorded, please inform event staff at check-in and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Event Participation & Registration Policy

Stuff the Backpack is a free, family-centered event open to the public. Pre-registration is highly encouraged to ensure an organized experience and to guarantee students receive a fully stocked backpack. Students who arrive without prior registration will still be welcomed, but they may receive a drawstring bag with limited supplies based on availability. Each student must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the event. All attendees are expected to participate respectfully and follow event guidelines.

We respect your privacy. Any personal information collected through our website, registration forms, or volunteer applications — such as names, email addresses, and phone numbers — will be used only for event coordination, updates, and communication regarding 2Wins programs. Your information will not be sold, shared, or used for unrelated purposes. You may request removal of your data at any time by contacting us at info@stuffthebackpack.org.

Code of Conduct Policy

2Wins and the Pack the Backpack event are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful space for all families, children, volunteers, and vendors. Disruptive, aggressive, or inappropriate behavior—including harassment, discrimination, or disregard for staff direction—will not be tolerated. Any individual exhibiting such behavior may be asked to leave the event immediately at the discretion of the organizers. We expect all attendees to treat others with kindness and patience as we work together to serve our community.

Liability Disclaimer

Participation in the Stuff the Backpack event is voluntary and at your own risk. By attending, you agree that 2Wins, its staff, volunteers, sponsors, and partners are not responsible for any injuries, illnesses, lost or stolen items, or other incidents that may occur during the event. While we take reasonable steps to ensure a safe and positive environment, all attendees assume full responsibility for their own safety and well-being.

Refund & Donation Policy

All donations, sponsorships, and ticket/table purchases related to the Stuff the Backpack or CommUNITY Gala events are final. Because these contributions directly support our youth programming and outreach efforts, no refunds will be issued unless the event is canceled by the organizers. If you are unable to attend, your payment will be acknowledged as a charitable contribution to 2Wins, a registered nonprofit organization.
